Sunday School
There’s nothing greater than teaching our youngest about their loving savior and seeing them come to know Him in greater and greater ways. In the morning meetings at Lamb’s Way we are currently offering a Sunday school type experience for those less than 8 yrs of age during the sermon portion of the service. There they have a snack, learn bible stories, participate in songs, create crafts and more.
We encourage any people currently coming to Lamb’s Way who can participate in the Sunday school to do so, so every week we have a pair of volunteers giving of themselves for our youngest portion of the body of Christ.
If you have children under the age of eight they are MORE than welcome to join us on Sunday morning for a part of church tailored just for them. If you are a member of Lamb’s Way and would be interested in helping out with this challenging ministry please see the coordinator Erin Patstone for more details.
Worship
Since the Lamb’s Way first came into existence more than ten years ago one of its pillars has been the cultivation and freedom in praise and worship. Working towards staying abrest of the newest and anointed music available the worship leaders try to create an atmosphere where we can both celebrate as the body of Christ, but still have the personal experience with the Father that is so important.
Worship at Lamb’s Way does come in different flavors. The morning meeting has worship that is introspective and focuses on the gentle aspects of the Father’s heart. These sessions are led by Hannah Jordan, whose experience and love for the Lord come out during the sessions.
At night the focus switches to a mode of celebration and intensity with the worship team Judah’s Pryde. Made up of talented young people ranging from high school to adults this team has a passion to see the Lord lifted high. This team is led by worship leader Nathan Patstone, whose loves to push the envelope of worship and see new worshipers released into their callings.
You’ll hear music of all types ranging from Vineyard, Hillsong, Tim Hughes, Matt Redman, Planetshakers, Chris Tomline, and many more during the Lamb’s Way worship time. Also Lamb’s Way produces its own music in order to pour back into the body of Christ with this church body’s own unique flavor.
Judah's Pryde
When Lamb's Way Christian Ministries first started in Wolfville in 1997 Nathan Patstone had already been leading in praise and worship at the Mountain Christian Center for over a year. He saw the need to bring together talented young people and to help usher in new and vibrant praise and worship for the Lamb's Way body. Since those first months Judah's Pryde has provided worship ministry for Lamb's Way almost every Sunday night during the celebration service while playing at special functions all over the province.
Today Judah's Pryde continues to perform that duty for the christian body at Lamb's Way by incorporating the newest in worship music from all over the globe. Over time the team has had members from many different countries thanks to Lamb's Way's international connections via the Acadia University campus. This has given the band a multi-national and flexible flavor, while in all things trying to bring an offering of excellence to the Lord. They also have begun working on their own original music and are working toward putting together an album in the near future.

International Gospel Choir of Acadia
The International Gospel Choir of Acadia is a
university club at Acadia University and it encompasses students from
all over the world who are looking for a christian community while
taking courses in the Wolfville area. The Choir was creating over two
decades ago by students from the Caribbean who were looking to come
together and sing praises to the Lord. As time went on the group grew to
include many more areas of the world, including the local area.
At first
they were limited to a end of year concert and a few special
performances in the Halifax area but soon the Choir began to hunger and
want to more than just sing. Looking to minister to the churches in the
area the choir transformed from a group of people just looking to get
together on Fridays to a group of people looking to minister to both the
saved and searching around them. They often have special services at Lamb's Way at the end of the month.
The
International Gospel Choir of Acadia has also helped birth a couple
extra groups of ministry on campus as well. They are the Judah worship
dance team and the Hip Hop dance team. All these groups seek to bless
the christian community around them while being a light on the campus.
Rob Atkinson Ministries
Rob Atkinson is a long time member of Lamb’s Way Christian Fellowship. While participating in worship, Rob has also begun to take his story out into the mission fields telling of the amazing ways that God has moved in and through his life. Here is an excerpt from Rob’s website…
“Whether in schools or in other youth groups, there are young people struggling through difficult situations. Maybe they’re being bullied, maybe their parents are divorcing, maybe they’re dealing with addiction in their family…whatever the storm is in their life, it is important that they see there is Hope.
After overcoming brain cancer and being given 7 days to live, inspirational speaker Rob Atkinson has a Message of Hope to bring to your students and youth. His story is a testament to the fact that, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds, Hope can prevail.”
