Hey everyone, Nate here. I just wanted to drop all our online viewers a quick note to say “Welcome to the new Lamb’s Way site!”

I’m sure some of you, perhaps, saw that a few weeks back our site went down for maintenance. This wasn’t a scheduled maintenance, but it gave me the opportunity and push to get our new site up and running instead of putting the old one back up. Needless to say the old design had served its time, and the Content Management System that ran it behind the scenes had become legacy software (meaning it wasn’t supported any more).

A while back I began to play with a few new looks for the Lamb’s Way site, which if any of you have taken a look at my personal homepage you would have seen them there. With the critical eye assistance of my wife we decided on this design for the site and I coupled it with a new CMS to run it that would give us much more flexibility and room to grow as time went on.

I really wanted to have this up and running for the Good Friday/Easter weekend, so I’ve launched it now. Needless to say it is still coming together and I hope to add more portions to it as the weeks roll on. The first thing people will notice are the photos throughout the site. Some areas are gray, and other areas will have “stock” photos. This is mainly due to the fact that I haven’t taken any photos at church recently, so I’ve had to make due with what’s available…whether its generic stuff off of stock sites, or pics I could nab from Facebook. All of these areas will be updated shortly with new pictures. The Calendar and News sections are also pretty sparse, but hopefully we’ll have more content for those as well very shortly! I’ll also be adding to our “web team” so we can have more up to date, and vibrant content over all as well!
